Avon Township Officials & Staff

The township is governed by a Board comprised of three Supervisors, elected to three year terms.  They are supported by a Clerk and Treasurer elected to two-year terms.  The Supervisors make all  final decisions about township business.   The Planning Commission is comprised on five members and supported by a Deputy Clerk.  Members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the Supervisors to a 5-year term.  The purpose of the Planning Commission is to make recommendations to the Supervisors concerning variances, etc.

Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 P.M. at Avon City Hall.  The officials of Avon Township are elected for a 3- year term at the annual meeting which is held the second Tuesday of March at Avon Town Hall from 12:00 - 8:00 P.M.  The members of the Board of Supervisors are:

Planning Board
Members of the Planning Board are (appointed by the Township Supervisors).  The Planning Board meets the last Wednesday of the month at 8:00 P.M. at Avon City Hall.
