Avon Township is primarily responsible for granting four types of permits - driveway access, certificate of compliance, conditional use permit,  and variances.  Most other permits are obtained through Stearns County Environmental Services (Stearns County (MN) Environmental Services; 320-656-3613).  Burning permits can be obtained from the local Fire Marshall.
